third shot ❀ video/action ❀ pewter city
[The gear switches on to show a grand view of a city at midday, cascading down a rocky side of a mountain - or mountains - from some unknown vantage point.]
Lovely, isn't it? I'm sure a lot of you have seen it before, but if sights like Pewter are commonplace in this world, that just makes me more excited to see more.
[Mami turns around her gear to show herself, smiling, sitting on a bench in front of the window of a restaurant, people moving about inside. There's two eggs and a bag at her side, and a pair of swablus perched on the bench back, the smaller yellow one making demanding little head nudges into the larger blue one's wing. And that one just looks confused by it.]
Kaname-san, Miki-san, and I made it to the city not long ago, and I've worked here a most days, but I still can't get over the views. But maybe it would be different, if I had more time to sit and look like this. Most of the time we're busy training our growing group. But you have to make time to spend together and have fun.
And, speaking of which... [She glances about conspiratorially before moving the gear to the chair, where it still shows her but frees her hands to dig through her bag. The two birds both stop and perk their heads curiously as Mami smooths out a piece of paper for the network's perusal. Once done, she has a chance to hold up the gear again, this time pointed at the bench seat with the paper laid out (and what looks like the top of an Oddish buried in the ground off to the side).]
Kaname-san drew some cute things... [What she shows is a drawing in a simple, but creative style, except in the place of magical outfit designs there's a bunch of Pokémon there, wearing cute ribbons and flowers and collars- perhaps even a top hat on a penguin!] And now I'm wondering. Do Pokémon ever wear things like this? Do you think they'd like to?

(Action)
...Here you...are! Are you busy...right now...?
action
Oh no, I just got off the phone... Is something going- Oh, watch out.
[She reaches up to guide Sayaka by the arm, around the mound of buried Oddish near her foot.]
action
(Sayaka blinks repeatedly before being pulled around the Oddish, looking back for a moment while sitting down. Pidgeotto replies back confidently, waving at her big sister and calling out as well.)
Just training my Pidgeotto for a while and wondered what you were up to. Didn't wanna disturb Madoka; last I saw her, she was busy drawing.
action
Yes, she was so immersed in her work.
But I didn't want to disturb her, so I came up here to ask the chef if he needs another pair of hands, and make a call.
[Plus the new hatchlings seem fond of the outdoors, with her Oddish burying herself in warm ground, and the newest Swablu loving to swoop about as much as she can.
She even tries it right now, jumping up to sweep by the Pigeotto, just as Grazia-nee-san was considering coming over. The sisterly obstacle sends her to Mami's shoulder, instead.]
action
What's on the menu? I'm not hungry yet, but I know a few Pokemon who might enjoy your cooking.
(One would be Pidgeotto, who has to fly straight up to avoid a Swablu-like obstacle shooting past, only to land near Sayaka's shoulder minutes later.)
action
[Mami cut herself off as her shoulder gets a little too crowded, as the golden Sonia swoops back and tries to land on her head. One bird too many, so Mami gently guides her to her arm instead, ignoring the fretful tweeted lecture from Grazia, as she finishes her comment.]
But they're quite something. Pinwheel sandwiches and wraps. You can order them in miniature on a platter, to share with a large group of people.
Or Pokemon.
action; wow a lot of his friends are in pewter IT IS THE PLACE TO BE.
Ah-hah! Honey will just run up to her. In tow is an Empoleon that was once a Piplup, the last time they met. And, of course, Kan-chan the Kangaskhan, his ever-present partner. ]
Mami-chan~! I didn't know you were headed to Pewter! I would have welcomed you right away if I'd known, ne.
action; clearly so! (also, sorry for the delay! I'm still on slowatus)
Honey-san! [She stands up on his approach, folding her paper in her hand.] I would have said hello myself, if I'd known you were here.
Have you been here long? [Because from the looks of that escort, he's been training up his crew!]
action; and now apologies for MY delay
Ah, you don't have to stand on my account - at least, not unless you were about to go somewhere~! I'll walk you if so!
I've only been here since the prom~! How about you, Mami-chan?
action | served back at you!
[And if he wants to walk her back, that's too sweet to demure about. She doesn't want to be unfriendly!]
But it was the same for me. My friends and I took the ship straight here after the party. I'm sorry I missed you there.
action
[ She officially has a small escort, since he seems pretty content to stick around. ]
It's more than okay! We're getting to meet up now, after all, right? Did you enjoy the party, though?
Those are some lovely designs, darling. A bit crude, perhaps, but with a little tweaking...
video
-what sort of things do you think you might add?
no subject
video
But I'm afraid I'm not the designer. That would be my friend.

[Chances where it would only enhance Madoka's embarrassment, but hopefully it would please her, too. (Plus it would be too cute.)]
And if you wish to ask her directly, her name is Madoka Kaname. She should be listed on the network, too.

But - how rude of my - I would be Mami Tomoe.
